The Head

A wedding-night accident leaves Gloria horribly mutilated. Daniel loves his wife and devotes himself to her care. He also finds time to sleep with Marta, his secretary. Meanwhile, Raquel, the nurse caring for Gloria at home, has desires and loyalties of her own.

As the affairs grow more complicated and arguments over Gloria’s future intensify, Daniel looks for a way to keep the whole arrangement intact. His brother Ezequiel, a brilliant but unhinged dentist, is eager to help. Daniel has just one rule: nobody dies. For Ezequiel, that condition turns his brother’s marital troubles into a scientific challenge he can’t resist.

For readers who like their science fiction laced with body horror, explicit sex, and dark humor, The Head is a marital farce in which desire calls the shots and science does the dirty work.
